Designed to maximize Windows 8 touch experience, the full articulation of the display allowed for maximum touch interaction with the display .
This concept was developed in 2012 for 2 of the largest ODMs in the world. The concept was proposed to major ODMs for purposes of inspiring what if ideas to large PC brands. Simplified variations of this concept were introduced into the market. In 2016, Microsoft introduced the Surface Studio which served as validation of the initial vision for the concept.
